Last Saturday we had a combined birthday party for the girls. Since Jillian's birthday is in February and Maddie's is in April we decided to do it in March. We did it at a park since that's Maddie's favorite place to be. The only problem was the rain. It was pouring right up until the start of the party. But thankfully it cleared up and with a few towels the kids were playing in no time.
After about 45 minutes it started raining again so we went under the covered pavilion to have food. Jillian loved sitting with her friends.
After the food the kids decorated their own bag for an Easter egg hunt. There were stamps, stickers and markers. The kids were very creative with their decorative skills.
Maddie loved the hunt and got excited finding all the eggs.
Maddie LOVES her bracelets! Aunt Jeanine always spoils the girls with homemade bracelets. Thanks so much!
Jillian was so happy to get the Bitty Baby Twins from American Girl. A few of her friends went in together and bought them for her. She LOVES them! Maddie also got a double stroller so she and Jillian have a blast pushing them all over the house and neighborhood.
This is Maddie loving to be outside in the rain. I swear that girl loves water so the rain became her favorite thing.
Aunt Sara outdid herself again making the cutest cakes for the girls. Isn't she amazing?

I am so jeoulous we weren't out there this year for such a fun extravaganza!! That's not even the half of it. Sure have missed seeing you up and blogging, but can see how busy you have been!! SUCHA cute party, you never cease to amaze me with how super creative you are!! (Btw, the suits you can find at target..). Happy birthday girls!! Wish we could have been there to join the fun.. Em was jeoulous when she saw all the fun things they did. She wants a birthday party just like it!!
Those pics are so cute. We had a blast at the party! Rain or shine your parties are always a hit! But you forgot to mention Jilly and her concern for Mr. Snail. She is such a thoughtful little girl.
